Job summary

Coinmerce is seeking an IT Service Desk Intern to join the IT Infrastructure team for a 5–6 month placement at our Schiphol-Rijk office. You will be the hands-on first line of technical support for employees, handling hardware, software, and tools to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will gain exposure to enterprise IT operations, ticketing, and workspace deployments, guided by experienced IT specialists.

Qualifications

Education: MBO level 3-4 or HBO Information Technology or related fields in the Netherlands.
Availability: On-site internship for 5 to 6 months, minimum 4 days per week.
Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
Core Technical Knowledge: Basic familiarity with Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and IT networking fundamentals.
Problem-Solving & Attitude: Curious, eager to learn, hands-on with hardware and troubleshooting.
Service Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills, helpful and patient with colleagues.

Responsibilities

On-site Hardware & Desk Support for workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, and conference room systems.
First-Line Ticket Resolution handling tickets and issues related to macOS, office apps, and local connectivity.
Device Provisioning & Deployment for new hires and asset offboarding workflows.
Identity & Access Management assistance with password resets and account provisioning.
Asset Tracking & Inventory logging IT hardware and stock levels; assist with audits.
Documentation: write and maintain end-user guides for common technical issues.
