Job summary

Coinmerce is seeking a tech‑savvy IT Service Desk Intern to join our IT Infrastructure team for a 5–6 month on-site placement at Schiphol-Rijk. You will be the first line of technical assistance for staff, ensuring hardware, software, and tools operate smoothly daily.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a relevant educational program in the Netherlands (MBO 3/4 or HBO IT, CS, SysAdmin or related).
On-site internship for 5–6 months with a minimum of 4 days per week.
Excellent written and spoken English (primary working language).
Basic familiarity with Windows, macOS, cloud tools, and general IT networking fundamentals.
Curious, eager to learn, and hands-on with hardware and troubleshooting.
Strong interpersonal skills and a service mindset when assisting colleagues.

Responsibilities

Provide face-to-face on-site hardware and desk support for workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals.
Manage first-line help desk tickets and troubleshoot macOS, office apps, and LAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN connectivity.
Prepare, image, and configure laptops for new hires and process returned hardware securely.
Assist day-to-day user administration including password resets and MFA setups.
Maintain accurate asset logs and assist with basic asset audits and stock levels.
Create step-by-step end-user guides to support self-service learning.
