Job summary

Gigs seeks a Controlling & Accounting Lead based in Amsterdam to own the financial backbone of a high-growth, multi-entity group. You will design an AI-native internal control framework, centralize data, and drive a rapid month-end close while ensuring rigorous consolidation and revenue recognition practices across the global footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience building a finance function from the ground up (audit background is a plus).
• Ability to think from first principles and build from scratch.
• Strong operational accounting skills with deep knowledge of technical accounting topics.
• Storytelling with numbers to drive relevant follow-up actions and embed finance in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Master the close: centralize financial data and accelerate month-end close.
• Build an AI-native internal control framework using Campfire and Ramp.
• Optimize end-to-end process flows across core cycles (P2P, R2R, O2C).
• Own management reporting with decision-ready insights for planning and analysis.
• Own technical accounting topics like consolidation and revenue recognition.
• Enable global expansion by supporting new entity openings and infrastructure.
• Lead and grow the function, building a scalable accounting team.
• Design the blueprint for an IPO-ready finance organization.
