Job summary

Built Different, Amsterdam-based SaaS scale-up, is rebuilding its finance function. This hybrid role lets you shape how finance runs, not just how it reports. You’ll own day-to-day processes and steer the month-end close as the business scales internationally.

You’ll lead AI-driven automation, build management reporting that informs decisions, and help stand up new legal entities in new markets. Dutch and English fluency is essential; 1–4 years in finance is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in finance and eager for broader scope.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (Dutch essential).
• Enjoy building and improving processes rather than maintaining them.
• Willing to lead AI-driven automation and tools in finance.

Responsibilities

• Run debtors, creditors, invoicing, payments, payroll, and tax.
• Own month-, quarter-, and year-end close, plus annual reporting.
• Build management reporting and analytics to drive decisions.
• Take charge of billing and revenue recognition as new system goes live.
• Lead on AI tools and automation to reduce repetitive work.
• Help stand up new legal entities as the business expands internationally.
