Job summary

Axelera AI, a fast-growing AI semiconductor scale-up headquartered in the Netherlands, seeks a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial control across multiple jurisdictions. You will report to the VP Finance and guide Payroll, AP and Treasury, ensuring IFRS compliance and strong internal controls.

You will manage statutory filings, liaise with Deloitte, support the year-end audit, and drive process improvements toward IPO readiness while optimising NetSuite and exploring AI-enabled finance

Qualifications

• Big 4 background or equivalent experience in a high-growth multinational
• Experience in fast-growing, multi-country scale-up environments (manufacturing or hardware exposure preferred)
• Hands-on NetSuite experience essential
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge and internal control framework experience
• Experience with IPO readiness, listed-company or SOX/ICFR environments helpful
• Ability to leverage AI tools to optimise finance processes
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly and annual close across multiple jurisdictions with IFRS compliance
• Maintain and evidence the group’s internal financial control framework across entities
• Manage statutory, regulatory and tax filing obligations and policy adherence
• Escalate complex issues to senior stakeholders and support Payroll/AP/Financial Controller
• Support external auditors and year-end audit fieldwork
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation
• Drive process improvements and IPO-readiness enhancements within the control framework
• Own and optimise NetSuite as the core financial system across entities
• Identify opportunities to use AI tools to streamline finance processes
