What are you going to do?

How can we make recording information in healthcare feel like a natural part of the workflow? In this graduation project, you will explore how the Ons® Suite can evolve from separate, task-focused questionnaires towards an integrated way of working that is ready for the future. You will look beyond forms and screens to consider the bigger picture: what information do healthcare professionals record, why do they record it, and where does it belong in their workflow? Your research will help shape how Ons® approaches information recording within care processes.

Your responsibilities
  • You investigate how healthcare professionals record information within Ons® and the purposes this serves. You also analyse existing questionnaires, reports and workflow actions within the Ons® Suite.
  • You identify patterns, challenges and opportunities within existing workflows. You also develop a generic framework or design principles for recording information.
  • You translate research insights into conceptual designs for 2–3 specific use cases and formulate strategic recommendations for the further development of Ons®.
  • You exchange ideas with designers, developers and product owners to test and refine your concepts.
Your team

You will work alongside designers, developers and product owners within the Ons® Suite (web and app). The team focuses on improving workflows for healthcare professionals, with a strong emphasis on usability and the seamless integration of functionality. We work collaboratively across disciplines and take an iterative approach: ideas are quickly validated, tested and refined. You will have the freedom to conduct independent research, with support whenever you need it. Expect direct communication, open discussions and a healthy dose of curiosity.

What’s in it for you?

At Nedap, we believe in freedom and responsibility, also for students. You will have the space to shape your project in your own way, working closely with your team. You will work partly from home and partly on our campus in Groenlo.

You can also expect:
  • Ownership: You will develop a framework that will be used within Nedap.
  • Guidance: Support from an experienced expert in the field.
  • Community: Participation in the Nedap Student Day.
  • Compensation: €550–€650 per month (full‑time).
  • Future opportunities: The possibility of staying at Nedap after completing your project.
