Job summary

Sunweb Group is seeking an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition intern to join our People, Culture & Organization team in Rotterdam. This work-along internship offers hands-on experience in Recruitment and People Operations with a focus on the full employee lifecycle.

You will support posting drafting, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and coordinating onboarding. The role is 32-40 hours per week, 5 months, with a hybrid model and a monthly remuneration of €500 gross.

Qualifications

• Current HBO or Bachelor student in HR, Business Administration, Marketing & Communications, or related field.
• Strong interest in HR and recruitment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive and eager to learn, can share ideas.
• Good verbal and written English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the full employee life cycle by handling contracts, employee data, and day-to-day HR queries.
• Maintain and update employee files with accuracy.
• Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment activities such as drafting job postings, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and supporting the candidate journey.
• Collaborate across the People team and other departments on daily tasks and projects.
• Stay informed about HR trends and best practices to improve processes.

Internship: Talent Acquisition (HR Recruitment)

Sunweb Group is looking for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition intern to join our People, Culture & Organization team. This is a work-along internship, where you become part of the team and gain hands‑on experience; not a thesis assignment.

If you’re excited about HR and want to learn how both Talent Acquisition and People Operations works in practice, this internship is for you!

Location: Rotterdam (Hybrid – 50% in office)
Start Date: January/ February 2027

Availability: 32-40 hours

Your impact

At Sunweb Group, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition intern to strengthen our People, Organization & Culture (POC) team. Our goal is to deliver exceptional employee experiences through a service-oriented Employee Experience approach.

In this internship, you will gain hands‑on experience in both People Operations and Recruitment, working closely with specialists focused on Processes, People Analytics, Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and broader HR topics such as Compensation & Benefits and Onboarding.

This is a unique opportunity to learn how HR and Recruitment works from A to Z while contributing your own ideas to help us attract, support, and engage our talented people.

• Support the full employee life cycle by handling operational tasks related to contracts, employee data, and day‑to‑day HR queries.

• Maintain and update employee files with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Assist the Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment activities such as drafting job postings, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and supporting the candidate journey.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the People team and other departments on both daily tasks and project‑based initiatives.

• Stay informed about the latest HR trends and best practices to help us continuously improve our processes.

What you bring

• You are currently an HBO or Bachelor student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing & Communication, or a related field.

• You have a strong interest in HR and are curious to learn more about Recruitment.

• You are detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities.

• You are proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to share your own ideas.

• You enjoy working with people and can build relationships across departments as well as with candidates.

• You are tech‑savvy and comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools.

• You have good verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a big plus).
