Job summary

Hunkemöller in Hilversum invites you to join the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) starting February 2027, alongside 50+ fellow interns. You will gain hands-on learning in merchandise and allocation, with exposure to cross-functional teams.

You will develop analysis and reporting skills, strengthen Excel, and (advantageous) SAP experience. Enrolled students available for 32h/week are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled for full duration of internship.
• Strong Excel skills and willingness to improve.
• Fluent in English and able to work 32h/week.
• SAP experience is a plus but not required.

What will you do?

• Involved in analysis pulled on various topics to improve our Merchandise & Allocation activities
• Part of Fashion, Nos and Repeat Merchandising Team
• Preparing selection meeting reports
• Supporting planner with delivery checks
• Preparing weekly trade reports and supporting planner with analysis
• Working collaboratively with other departments with regards to planning & allocation
• Pulling more effective analysis and recommendations
• Support ad hoc analysis in a fast paced environment

About you!

• You are passionate about the impact of effective allocation & planning of products for our stores and online stores.
• You’ve finished the first semesters of your HBO/Bachelor/Master studies (ideally Economics/Business studies, Mathematics or similar) and still enrolled as a student for the time of the internship.
• You have experience with Excel and are eager to improve your skills here
• If you gained first experience with SAP - not a necessity but an advantage.
• Your way of working can be described as proactive and organized, and you know or want to learn how to plan well and set priorities.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are able to work at least 32h/week on internship responsibilities (no school assignments or thesis writing)

• Travel Allowance: Max. 23,00€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

Eligibility Criteria

For This Internship, You Need To Be Available For 5 Months Starting In February 2027. Please Note That Your Application Will Only Be Considered If You Are Enrolled At a School Or University For The Full Duration Of The Internship. Additionally, To Comply With Dutch Law, One Of The Following Must Apply

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
