Job summary

Rituals is seeking an International PR & Communications intern to support the Global PR team across beauty and corporate communications. The role is based at our Amsterdam head office in the heart of the city, offering a dynamic, young team and hands-on experience in international PR.

You will assist with press platforms, event briefings, and handling press requests while coordinating PR orders and archival news items.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in HBO/WO in Communication/Marketing/Branding.
• Full-time available (40 hours) for 6 months from Feb 2027.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proactive, organized and able to multitask.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance of the press platform and reporting system.
• Assist in developing PR, event, and press kit briefings for local market initiatives.
• Handle incoming press requests from PR agencies and media.
• Support organization of international events and PR activities (online and offline).
• Coordinate PR orders and sponsor requests.
• Archive/news monitoring of Rituals in the media.

As the International PR & Communications intern, you are part of the Marketing & Communication team and you support the Global PR team across both beauty and corporate communications. Rituals offers a varied internship in a young team with enthusiastic colleagues at our head office in the heart of Amsterdam.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

You will support the team in the maintenance of the press(release) platform and overall reporting system. You will also support in developing PR, event, and press kit briefings for the local market initiatives. Additionally, your responsibilities include handling incoming press requests (image requests, product information & retrieval) from PR agencies and media across various countries. You also support the team with the organisation of the international events and PR activities (online and offline). Besides, you coordinate PR orders and deal with sponsor requests. Furthermore, you collect and archive all news items about Rituals in the media. Lastly, you will support in creating sustainable storytelling, reputation management and strategic communication.

• Education: Currently studying in HBO/WO education in Communication/Marketing/Branding
• Full time available (40 hours): February 2027 for a period of 6 months.
• Excellent communication skills in English

• You can work with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Excel
• You are keen to be the best in class within your internship. You are flexible, you enjoy getting involved, are curious to learn, and have an attention to detail. You are also open to work closely together with various teams.
