Job summary

Philips is offering an Internship in the Global Service Operations Program within the Service Enablement Team in Best. Start date is November 2026 (flexible), lasting about six months with on-site presence at least 3 days per week.

You will work with project managers across regions to learn how large programs are planned, executed and improved, gaining hands-on exposure while contributing to two service transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Engineering, Change Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative/analytical field.
  • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision support.
  • Excellent written and spoken English in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of two service transformation programs with project managers.
  • Assist with program prep activities and documentation coordination.
  • Contribute to transformation workstreams and manage day-to-day program activities.

Are you a curious and proactive student who is eager to learn in an international corporate environment? Join the Service Enablement Team (SET), and help us deliver two key service transformation programs. You will work closely with project managers and colleagues across regions and businesses, gaining hands-on exposure to how large global programs are planned, executed, and improved.

Responsibility
  • Support the execution of two service transformation programs in collaboration with project managers.
  • Assist with program preparation activities and documentation coordination.
  • Contribute to transformation-related workstreams and help manage day-to-day program activities.
  • Help coordinate weekly status reporting from project managers and domain leads.
  • Work with the tools, processes, and governance used to run large projects/programs.
  • Participate in meetings with global operations, functional teams, and business units, building an understanding of project statuses, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Suitable Candidates

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Engineering, Change Management, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative or analytical discipline.
  • You are curious, proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable developing in a complex corporate environment.
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy using data to support reporting and decision-making.
  • You communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing, in English.
  • You can collaborate effectively with colleagues from different functions, regions, and business units.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to support multiple activities in a structured way.
How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week at our Best office. You will be part of a core team based in Best while collaborating with colleagues around the world.

Benefits
  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands.
  • Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation.
  • We'll offer you a monthly allowance of €300 net if the location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, and €255 net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we'll ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time for a one-way trip.
  • If you are not eligible for a free public transport card, you will receive a maximum of €192 net as a monthly allowance.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop.
