Hunkemöller offers the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) starting September 2026, with 50+ interns. You will produce content for internal channels, assist with marketing roll-outs, and organise activations for internal audiences. A buddy supports your growth in a playful, inclusive environment.

WFH is allowed up to 2 days per week for 40-hour weeks. Internship involves a 450€ gross monthly allowance, up to 23€ per day travel, 25% staff discount, and a company laptop.

Qualifications

• Must be available for a 5-month internship starting September 2026.
• Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
• EU citizen or valid NL visa/permit; Dutch IND rules apply for sponsorship where applicable.
• Not all positions may meet minimum salary requirements for sponsorship; refer to IND guidance.

What will you do?

• Produce visual and written content for all internal communication channels, including our internal app
• Support with the marketing campaigns roll-out and sales information to our HQ staff
• Develop and organise interactive activations and events for our internal audience
• Support with the creation and launch of digital employee engagement initiatives
• Own the content analytics

About you!

• You have a hands-on mentality and is not afraid to work with different internal stakeholders
• You can be creative and can write in a fun and attractive Tone of Voice
• Your way of working can be described as proactive and precise whilst delivering your workload on time
• You know, or want to learn, how to set priorities
• Fluent in English
• Interest in the retail industry
• You’re available for 40 hours/week to work

• Work From Home (WFH) Policy: For 40-hour internships, you are allowed to work from home up to 2 days per week, depending on the nature of your role. During onboarding, WFH days may vary to better support your learning and training.
• Internship Allowance: 450€ per month (gross) with 8+ holiday days (based on 40h/week).
• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.
• Additional Benefits: Access to 25% staff discount and a company laptop. Also, company gatherings like Townhalls and drinks.

Eligibility Criteria

For This Internship, You Need To Be Available For 5 Months Starting In September 2026. Please Note That Your Application Will Only Be Considered If You Are Enrolled At a School Or University For The Full Duration Of The Internship. Additionally, To Comply With Dutch Law, One Of The Following Must Apply

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third-party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
• Please be aware that not all our potential entry-level positions will meet the minimum salary required by the IND for sponsorship by Hunkemöller. Please refer to this website for more information: Required amounts income requirements | IND
