Job summary
Van Storm, a naval shipbuilder and part of a global shipbuilding group, seeks an Integration Engineer Interior (interim) to lead technical engineering and integration of joinery systems in naval vessels. You will translate customer and design requirements into detailed specifications, enabling subcontracting, engineering, and integration within ship interiors.

Qualifications
- Experience as a Technical Specification Engineer or similar role in maritime joinery
- Knowledge of joinery materials, engineering techniques and standards
- Proficiency in CAD for technical drawings and specs
- Fluent English; German considered an advantage
- EU citizenship and valid passport due to military context
Responsibilities
- Develop functional and detailed technical specifications for joinery in accommodation and technical spaces
- Collaborate with procurement to select suppliers, materials, and insulation
- Coordinate technical integration of joinery with other ship systems and disciplines
- Support FAT and inspections, ensuring subcontracted works meet specs
- Provide technical support to production teams during project
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and implement improvements
