Damen Naval seeks a (Senior) Integration Engineer Interior (interim) specializing in joinery and accommodation for naval vessels. You will translate design concepts into precise specifications, oversee the engineering process, and ensure compliance with strict quality standards.

In this temporary role, you will work with procurement, production, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated joinery solutions, while keeping documentation up to date and adopting best practices from the

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Architecture, or related field.
• Experience as Technical Specification Engineer or similar role focusing on joinery in the maritime industry.
• Deep knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret engineering data.

Mansioni

• Develop functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on customer and design requirements.
• Create detailed technical specifications for joinery works, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to select materials and suppliers for accommodation joinery and insulation.
• Support quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to ensure joinery meets standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production, resolving issues during the project.
• Maintain documentation of joinery specifications, changes, and progress.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of joinery with ship systems.
