"Make an impact on a multi-year technology transformation that brings our existing access control solutions together in one future-ready platform."
Within Security, Nedap helps organizations keep people, buildings, and assets secure and accessible. Our solutions are used in complex environments where reliability, continuity, and ease of use directly affect the day-to-day work of customers and users.
We are developing a new access control platform that brings together the strengths of our existing on-premises and cloud-native solutions. This challenge goes beyond product development alone. We are building a platform that spans software, cloud, firmware, hardware, UX, and services, while enabling existing customers to migrate responsibly.
You develop and maintain an integrated roadmap across four connected domains: the customer journey, Access Management Core, the installation journey for partners, and devices and hardware.
You establish the governance structure, including decision-making, steering committees, reporting, escalation routes, and clear responsibilities across teams and domains.
You bring these disciplines together and resolve conflicting priorities and dependencies in a focused and effective way.
You turn the migration challenge into clear decisions relating to product, technology, implementation, partner support, and commercial feasibility.
You maintain oversight and demonstrably bring a program that is at risk of going off track back to a manageable and credible path.
You improve collaboration between Agile teams and make the business value of technical foundations, architectural choices, and technical debt understandable and measurable.
As the Interim Program Manager you own the program execution and the sponsor (Head of tech) owns strategic direction, investment and organizational intervention. The program brings together product leaders, architects, engineers, UX specialists, cloud and firmware experts, hardware teams, operations, and commercial colleagues.
Most of the expertise comes from within the existing organization and is brought together around the program. You are not an additional management layer above project managers. You are the content-involved owner of the program approach and its shared delivery.
Strategic decisions remain the responsibility of Nedap management. You ensure that the relevant information, options, and consequences are clearly presented.
This is an independent, temporary assignment with clearly defined outcomes and significant influence on the content and direction of the program. You will have access to the people, information, and expertise needed to shape and advance a program of strategic importance.
You bring clarity and direction to a complex environment without removing its energy and momentum. You are transparent about uncertainty, ask incisive questions, and are prepared to challenge an agreed approach, including your own. When someone challenges your thinking, you examine the substance rather than defend your position.
You take ownership of issues that fall between teams or roles, visibly learn from decisions that did not work out, and help others do the same. This enables you to build collaboration that remains effective under pressure.
