Job summary

VectorY Therapeutics, based at Amsterdam Science Park, seeks an experienced Interim Controller to lead financial reporting, controls and day-to-day finance operations during a growth phase.

You will own monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensure ledger integrity, and prepare management reports while coordinating audits and strengthening controls. Hybrid work from Amsterdam with remote flexibility during a 4-month assignment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial control, accounting, reporting or audit.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls and compliance.
• Experience in biotech or life sciences is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and finance partners.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance processes.
• Drive improvements across accounting, reporting and finance operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
