Job summary

SIG is seeking a Junior Controller based in Tilburg to support cost control and the broader finance function. You will work with the controlling team and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information, assist with VAT, CIT, and other tax submissions, and support internal and external audits.

You will help with monthly closings, variances analysis, and process improvements, while developing broad controlling expertise in an international, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced Dutch and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and develop within Controlling.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Head of Finance and the controlling team with accurate, timely financial information.
• Collaborates with the controlling team, finance colleagues, and business stakeholders on activities.
• Contributes to process improvements, documentation, and internal controls.
• Maintains current costs, estimates costs of new products, and supports costing analyses.
• Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting activities.
• Investigates variances and explains cost movements and business drivers.
