Job summary

SMA Highscope Indonesia is seeking a passionate high school teacher to deliver engaging lessons, create lesson plans, and monitor student progress.

You will teach using active learning, collaborate across disciplines, and inform parents during conferences. Strong English and a collaborative mindset are essential.

The position begins in April with on-site work, Monday to Friday, followed by an in-person demo teaching session.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences and Performing Arts.
• Significant experience in teaching Social Science and/or Art.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Experience in interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning is a plus.
• Passion for teaching, easy-going, open-minded and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school students including creating lesson plans and monitoring progress.
• Teach with an active learning approach.
• Engage students creatively to keep them curious and attentive.
• Inform parents about student progress during conferences.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Principal.
