Job summary

HighScope Indonesia is seeking a qualified music teacher for our elementary program to design lessons, deliver engaging activities, and monitor each student’s progress.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, have strong English skills, and be proficient with teaching technology (Microsoft, Google Workspace, digital presentations).

The role is on-site with Monday–Friday work; benefits include lunch, professional development, and two weeks off during Christmas and Eid.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music.
• Significant teaching experience in music.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Proficient with teaching technology (Microsoft, Google Workspace, digital presentation).
• Passion for teaching, easy-going, open-minded and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Teach music using an active learning system.
• Create lesson plans and monitor student progress.
• Engage students creatively to keep them curious and attentive.
• Inform parents about progress during conferences.
• Assume other duties assigned by the Principal related to the school program.
