Job summary

Stichting Dunamare Onderwijs Groep's Optimist International Academy is seeking an MYP Integrated Science Teacher to join the Secondary team from January 2027. You will design engaging MYP science units and assess student learning using IB criteria.

You will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and be part of an early-stage international secondary programme, supported by a modern science laboratory.

Qualifications

• Experience with IB MYP or strong Science background and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging MYP science units.
• Ability to assess using MYP criteria and collaborate on curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Teach MYP 1 (Group 8) and MYP 2 (first year of Dutch secondary school).
• Design and deliver engaging MYP Science units.
• Assess student learning using MYP criteria.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning.
