Job summary

Socket.dev in Delft, Netherlands, is seeking an Information Security Officer to act as central POC for information security. You will maintain our ISMS and coordinate ISO certification efforts while updating policies.

Reporting to Head of Information Security, you will lead risk assessments, audits, and awareness programs, collaborate with external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2 to keep our security posture robust.

Qualifications

• BA/MSc or HBO degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, and/or Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, GDPR, and IT management, with a focus on ISO 27001 audits and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain information security policies and procedures aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2.
• Lead ISO certification preparation and audits.
• Perform risk assessments and coordinate security projects across the company.
