Job summary

Nmbrs BV seeks a Senior Information Security Officer to join our Amsterdam team. You will own the ISMS, maintain ISO 27001 certification, manage risk, and ensure GDPR compliance across Nmbrs' SaaS platform.

Work in a fast-growing environment with a 4-day workweek and hybrid flexibility. You will collaborate with the DPO, auditors, and cross-functional squads to embed security by design and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Security credentials such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISSP, or CISM.
• Broad experience across security: technical, governance, risk, audits and compliance.
• Hands-on with firewalls and cloud environments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own ISMS, maintain ISO 27001; ensure compliance with security standards.
• Develop security policies, conduct risk assessments and verify controls.
• Shape security architecture, access management, and secure software development.
• Plan and coordinate audits; manage evidence collection and closure of findings.
• Investigate incidents and drive improvements across the org.
