Job summary

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Amsterdam invites applicants for a ten‑month Information Centre trainee position. You will analyse how scientific publishing evolves and how information retrieval can be improved for digital literacy among EMA staff.

You will also help raise the visibility of the InfoCentre, support the rollout of its strategy, and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement with colleagues across EMA.

Qualifications

• This placement requires an eligible EU citizen or equivalent status.
• Degree in information science or related field preferred with recent graduation.
• Interest in literature resources, databases and information services.

Responsibilities

• Analyse publishing landscape and access to medical literature.
• Explore AI-enabled tools for discovery and interpretation of literature.
• Support visibility and strategic positioning of the InfoCentre.
• Assist in communicating services and engaging EMA staff.
