Job summary

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Amsterdam invites applications for a 10-month traineeship in the Legal Department. It is open to recent graduates or students (Erasmus+ or similar, PhD or Master) who want to gain experience by contributing to the Agency’s work for every patient in Europe.

The trainee will support the three offices—Pharma Law and Support to Core Business, Litigation, and General Affairs and Anti-Fraud Office—by assisting in meetings, drafting reports, researching case-law,

Qualifications

• EU law knowledge obtained in university studies, traineeship, or work experience.
• Skills in writing official documents in English.
• Behavioural competencies: interpersonal skills, teamwork, research & analytical, learning & development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Legal Department offices (Pharma Law and Support to Core Business Office, Litigation Office, General Affairs and Anti-Fraud Office) in delivering legal assistance.
• Assist with ongoing projects, including GPL matters and handling access to documents requests.
• Attend meetings, write reports on legal matters, and research relevant case-law for the Agency.
