Job summary

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Amsterdam is offering a 10‑month Traineeship under the Leveraging Administration for Automation, AI and Digitisation Office. The role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of an AI‑driven solution to optimise administrative workflows within the EMA’s Administration Division, with hands‑on experience in project delivery in a regulatory setting.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizen with a relevant university degree or enrolled in Erasmus+ or similar program.
• Knowledge of Python for data processing and AI tool usage.
• Willingness to work in a regulatory environment and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and coordination of the chosen AI project including design, testing and rollout activities.
• Gather and analyse business requirements to align the AI solution with operational needs and improvement goals.
• Collaborate with LEAAAD members and divisional teams to ensure integration and adoption of the AI tool.
• Participate in data preparation, model evaluation and performance monitoring to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Document outcomes, lessons learned and recommendations for future AI initiatives.
