Job summary

Shelby Transportation is seeking an Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator to oversee field sampling for the IPP, maintain sampling equipment, and inspect industrial customers. The role includes preparing notices of violations, regulatory reports, and managing the Synexus Pretreatment database.

In addition, you will participate in daily operational rounds, review process impacts on POTW performance, and administer the City’s Storm Water Monitoring Program as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater treatment environments and ability to perform field sampling.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local regulations.
• Proven track record with laboratory testing and analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform all field sampling events for the IPP and maintain sampling equipment.
• Inspect industrial customers and prepare notices of violations and regulatory reports.
• Maintain the Synexus Pretreatment database and support plant process discussions.
• Administer the City’s Storm Water Monitoring Program and participate in daily operational rounds.
