Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks an Engineering Manager to lead safe and reliable engineering and maintenance operations. You will drive planned maintenance, continuous improvement, and technical excellence, guiding the Engineering team, ensuring health, safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting asset reliability and workforce competency across the site.

You will align maintenance activities with OEM recommendations, reliability data, and HSE guidance, while overseeing budgeting and risk

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a hazardous manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of country Health and Safety legislation.
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
2+ years of RAMS and PTW issuing/approving.
NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Enforce safe systems of work and accountability for safety performance.
Provide safe equipment, environment, and PPE for employees/contractors.
Inform, instruct, train and supervise staff to work safely.
Strive for zero recordable injuries and investigate incidents with countermeasures.
Drive planned maintenance using historical data and Condition Based Monitoring.
Provide technical support to the Engineering Team.
Direct liaison with stakeholders to prioritise maintenance resources.
Contribute to Management of Change and Commissioning processes.
Drive Engineering Continuous Improvements to increase production and safety.
Support HAZOPs and process design as required.
Act as Maintenance site custodian for Rx activities where relevant.
Ensure Training and Competencies of Maintenance Team.
Lead risk assessments and safe work procedures.
Manage Engineering budget and spend against plan.
Contribute to Engineering Management System and procedures.
