Job summary

UPS is seeking an Industrial Engineering Supervisor for the Netherlands to lead the IE team, align engineering solutions with business goals, and deliver improvements in operational performance within a dynamic logistics environment.

You will coordinate priorities with operations, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, overseeing layouts, productivity projects, and automation initiatives across Roermond and Venlo facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years in warehouse logistics or industrial engineering
• Proven leadership with potential for people management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with AutoCAD; Power BI and SketchUp a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support IE Specialists across the Netherlands to set priorities and improve operations
• Coordinate IE workload and project priorities to maximize impact
• Oversee warehouse layout changes and designs using AutoCAD for customer implementations and reconfigurations
• Drive process re-engineering and productivity initiatives to deliver measurable results
• Support development and optimization of warehouse automation solutions (AutoStore, Locus)
• Review productivity and quality performance using automated reporting and trend analysis
• Guide IE team in productivity, workflow, work measurement, and staffing analyses
• Ensure engineering solutions align with operational plans, customer requirements and service levels
• Act as key IE partner for operational management across Netherlands facilities in Roermond and Venlo
