Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking a Service Engineer to troubleshoot, maintain, and supervise commissioning for clients in the Limburg region.

You will work independently or with colleagues on diverse projects, supporting the technical service department and contributing to field assembly and panel construction. The role requires an engineering degree in automation/electronics, knowledge of instrumentation and PLC/servo tech, and a customer-focused, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, frequency converters, servo and PLC technology.
• Affinity with mechanical and process engineering installations.
• Customer- and service-oriented mindset and able to stay calm during malfunctions.
• Independent, proactive, and able to maintain an overview.

Responsibilities

• Independently executing projects, including modifications to control panels, field cabling, and instrumentation.
• Resolving malfunctions and performing maintenance at client locations.
• Conducting I/O tests and configuring process instrumentation.
• Supporting the technical service department at clients.
• Working in project teams in field assembly and panel construction.
