Job summary

Focus Engineering B.V. is seeking a Field Service Engineer Automation to work on high-tech production lines at customer sites worldwide.

The role combines hands-on engineering, direct customer interaction and international travel within an organisation that values teamwork, ownership and continuous development. You will commission complex electrical and PLC-controlled machinery, troubleshoot issues, and act as the technical link between the project team and customers, while delivering on-site

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, CODESYS, B&R).
Solid experience with electrical systems in industrial automation.
Valid driver's licence.
Willing to travel internationally 50-70% of the time.

Responsibilities

Commissioning complex electrical and PLC-controlled machinery at customer sites worldwide.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; performing on-site modifications.
Acting as the technical link between the project team, local technicians and the customer.
Delivering high-quality service, including maintenance, on-site support and remote troubleshooting.
Preparing projects, creating technical documentation and providing practical customer training.
