Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Procurement Specialist on a fixed-term basis for 7 months to support the Indirect Procurement team. The role focuses on day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier management, PO processing, and ERP updates, ensuring business continuity without leading strategic sourcing initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage RFQ processes, negotiate routine terms, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure timely procurement and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on open actions, and work independently.
• Prior experience with indirect procurement categories is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end RFQ process for indirect goods and services.
• Evaluate quotations, negotiate routine terms, ensure policy compliance.
• Create, maintain, and track purchase orders in ERP.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules to mitigate risks.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with finance and stakeholders.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and procurement reporting.
