Indirect Procurement Specialist — 6-Month Contract

Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Indirect Procurement team on a 3–6 month assignment. You will manage end-to-end RFQ processes for indirect goods, identify suppliers, solicit bids, and analyze quotes to drive compliant, cost-effective purchases.

You will also create and track purchase orders, liaise with manufacturing, finance and other stakeholders, monitor deliveries, resolve invoice discrepancies, and provide timely updates on sourcing activities and order status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on open actions, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end RFQ process for indirect goods and services, including requirement gathering, supplier identification, quotation requests, bid analysis, and recommendation preparation.
• Support supplier sourcing activities by evaluating quotations, negotiating routine terms, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Create, maintain, and track purchase orders, ensuring timely order placement and ERP updates.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and open orders; follow up to prevent delays and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate resolution of invoice discrepancies and pricing issues with suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders.
