Job summary

Stoneridge in the Netherlands is seeking a Procurement Specialist on a fixed-term 7-month contract to support the Indirect Procurement team with day-to-day purchasing, supplier management, and PO processing.

The role focuses on executing procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely responses to business requirements, without leading strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end RFQ process for indirect goods and services, including requirement gathering and supplier identification.
• Coordinate quotation requests, bid analysis, and commercial comparisons with recommended actions.
• Create, maintain, and track purchase orders; ensure ERP updates and supplier confirmations.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and open orders to mitigate supply risks.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and goods receipt mismatches with finance and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, and procurement reporting in ERP systems.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, finance, IT, and facilities to support procurement requests.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders on sourcing activities and order status.
