Job summary

Kohinoor of India in Arnhem is seeking 2 independent working Chefs-I to join our kitchen team. Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes, manage mise en place, and ensure consistent quality and presentation.

You will apply HACCP, handle inventory, maintain equipment, and contribute ideas for recipes and process improvements. Fluency in Dutch or English, plus a proactive, team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 diploma (level MBO 3)
• Basic culinary knowledge and skills
• Ability to work independently and handle stress
• Dutch or English language

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare lunch and dinner dishes.
• Carry out mise en place and prep tasks.
• Ensure the quality, taste and presentation of all dishes.
• Apply HACCP and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory: ordering, receiving and checking products.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workspaces.
• Contribute ideas for recipes and menu updates.
• Supervise compliance with regulations and the work of the assistants.
