Job summary

Manuport Logistics (MPL) in Rotterdam is seeking an experienced Teamleader Import to steer a dedicated import team and ensure top-notch freight forwarding results. You’ll coach, support and challenge colleagues, keeping an eye on service levels and process improvements to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

You will lead by example during busy periods, coordinate with operations, and ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and timely communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in ocean freight forwarding with a focus on import operations.
• Proven experience leading a team within a forwarding or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs processes and international transport regulations.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and keep control in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages a plus.
• Comfortable working with transport management systems and seeking smarter ways of working.
