Cognizant is seeking an Identity & Access Management Engineer in the Netherlands in a hybrid role. You will design, implement, and optimize IAM solutions to safeguard assets and ensure compliant access for a global workforce.

You will collaborate with the Cybersecurity team across security operations, risk, compliance, and audit to deliver resilient identity controls and streamlined access processes.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of cybersecurity or identity management experience.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in identity and access management platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IAM engineering — design and implement secure identity and access management solutions aligned with security policies and regulatory expectations.
• Own access governance — develop and maintain access policies balancing security controls with user experience.
• Manage identity lifecycle operations — provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes across the employee journey.
• Drive access reviews and certifications — conduct campaigns to remediate entitlements and reduce risk.
• Detect, investigate, and respond — analyze authentication events and support preventive improvements.
