Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer for a long-term freelance assignment based in Amsterdam. The role focuses on implementing, integrating and supporting enterprise IAM solutions within a complex international environment.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management, provisioning workflows, app and directory integrations, RBAC and governance, and developing connectors and scripts. The position is hybrid in Amsterdam, with start date to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of IAM/IGA/PAM experience.
• Hands-on with one or more IAM platforms.
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, APIs and enterprise apps.
• Fluent English in professional context.

The role will focus on the implementation, integration and support of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions within a complex international environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support IAM solutions
• Manage identity lifecycle processes, including joiners, movers and leavers
• Configure provisioning, access requests and approval workflows
• Integrate applications, directories, databases and cloud platforms
• Support RBAC, access reviews and access governance processes
• Develop and maintain connectors, scripts and API integrations
• Troubleshoot IAM incidents and support production environments
• Contribute to upgrades, migrations and platform improvements
• Produce technical documentation and work with security, infrastructure and application teams
• Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Required Experience

• At least five years of experience in IAM, IGA or PAM
• Hands-on experience with one or more IAM platforms
• Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, APIs and enterprise applications
• Good understanding of provisioning, identity lifecycle management and access governance
• Experience with scripting or development languages such as Java, PowerShell or Python
• Professional working proficiency in English

Experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Saviynt, One Identity or similar platforms would be advantageous.
