Job summary

Vanmoof is seeking a detail-oriented Warranty and Repair Specialist to bridge technical troubleshooting with operational execution. You will handle warranty claims on Zendesk, process Shopify parts orders, test Diagnoses, and document field data to drive product improvements.

The role involves hands-on hardware work, lab tasks, and occasional warehouse duties, with a hybrid work setup (3 days in office, 2 days at home) in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Experience using ticketing systems (Zendesk) and e-commerce/fulfillment platforms (Shopify).
• Strong technical aptitude with diagnostic testing, hardware troubleshooting, or component-level repair.
• Excellent written communication for partner-facing support.
• High attention to detail when validating technical claims and handling shipments.

Responsibilities

• Warranty & Ticket Management: Manage end-to-end warranty claims; monitor and respond to tickets on Zendesk; grant or deny warranty requests per policy.
• Order Fulfillment: Create and process accurate Shopify orders for warranty-approved parts.
• Technical Testing & Validation: Test and validate partner diagnoses using internal testing hardware/software.
• Data Capture & Feedback: Document technical data from the field to aid product improvements.
• ECU Preparation: Test and prepare components to meet quality standards before shipping.
• Shipping & Logistics: Pack components and generate shipping labels.
• Component Repair: Troubleshoot and repair defective components to restore functionality.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with warehouse tasks and inventory organization.
