Job summary

AutoStaff in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician to maintain, repair and diagnose passenger cars in a modern workshop. The role emphasizes English communication and practical automotive skills; Dutch language is not required, and you will join a professional team.

You will work on petrol, diesel, hybrid and possibly electric vehicles, perform inspections, use diagnostic equipment, and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Car Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Valid driving licence (Category B).
• Experience with diagnostics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on passenger cars.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
• Perform brake, suspension, engine and drivetrain repairs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Work with colleagues in a professional workshop.
