Job summary

Ace & Tate in Amsterdam seeks a Sourcing & Quality Specialist for maternity cover from December 2026 to June 2027. You will join a dynamic, international retail brand and lead sourcing resilience, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance across eyewear products.

This role offers a hybrid work environment with ownership and opportunities to influence supplier strategies, focusing on MDR/CE in a fast-paced setting. Experience in fashion or consumer products is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, procurement, quality assurance or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of managing supplier performance end to end.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks such as MDR, CE marking and ISO standards in eyewear or similar regulated products.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers on commercial terms.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deepen supplier performance tracking and risk assessments.
• Identify new suppliers and nearshoring options across frames and materials.
• Review and strengthen existing supplier contracts in collaboration with Legal.
• Maintain and embed MDR compliance across relevant departments.
