Job summary

Ace & Tate is hiring a Sourcing & Quality Specialist for a maternity cover from December 2026 to June 2027. The role supports sourcing resilience, supplier risk management, and quality assurance for eyewear products.

The position can be temporary or freelance, with hybrid work options and Amsterdam HQ as the work base. The candidate will lead supplier performance initiatives, strengthen sourcing strategies, and ensure MDR and ISO regulatory compliance across relevant teams, while negotiating

Qualifications

Experience in sourcing, procurement, quality assurance or supply chain management.
Supplier performance management experience.
Regulatory knowledge including MDR, CE marking and ISO standards.
Strong negotiation experience with suppliers.
Ability to develop supplier scorecards and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Sourcing resilience: deepen supplier performance tracking and risk assessments and create mitigation plans.
Sourcing strategy: identify new suppliers, regions and nearshoring options.
Contract management and negotiations with Legal team.
Quality assurance: develop quality framework, inspection standards and supplier quality control.
Root-cause analysis and improvements with suppliers and internal teams.
Regulatory compliance: MDR compliance across departments.
