Job summary

TOPdesk is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with department leadership, advise on talent planning, and shape people decisions with fairness and strategic insight. You will contribute to international HR transformation initiatives, translate global strategy into concrete local actions, and coach managers on leadership and performance topics, in a hybrid, open culture.

You will work with senior leadership and the Works Council, and report to the Global Head of HR Business

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Business Partner or comparable advisory HR role.
• Business mindset with genuine care for people.
• Knowledge of performance and talent management and employee relations.
• Evidence-based and structured: data-driven decision making.
• Ability to build trust and handle sensitive matters with integrity.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership: first point of contact for managers on workforce planning, talent, and people decisions.
• Advise on employee relations, performance, and engagement; analyze cases and propose solutions.
• Turn strategy into action by translating objectives into initiatives with owners and milestones.
• Own the people strategy with measurable outcomes and resource implications.
• Analyze HR data and trends to flag risks and drive behavioral change.
• Coach managers on leadership and performance through structured conversations.
• Support organizational change with design, L&D, recruitment, and Works Council; map people impact.
• Be approachable and human for colleagues needing HR support.
