Job summary

Rederij Groen BV seeks an experienced HR Manager to align HR strategy with business goals, support management, and foster an environment where people can grow and perform. You will supervise shore-based HR activities, advising Senior Management and ensuring compliant, people-centric solutions.

You will drive digital HR initiatives, manage the employee lifecycle, and collaborate with external providers to strengthen organisational wellbeing and long-term employability within an offshore setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years in a broad HR management role.
• Experience advising managers and supporting growth, development and change.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and contemporary HR practices.
• Experience across the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
• Passion for digitalisation, technology and continuous improvement.
• Ability to translate data, insights and business needs into practical HR solutions.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted HR Business Partner for managers and employees on people, team and organisational topics.
• Guide employees through their journey from attracting and onboarding talent to development, engagement and offboarding.
• Keep HR operation running smoothly with payroll coordination and effective absence management.
• Continuously improve policies, processes and ways of working balancing compliance with employee experience.
• Lead HR digitalisation initiatives and explore technology to improve HR effectiveness.
• Turn HR data and insights into actions that support business decisions.
