Job summary

Xccelerated | Part of Xebia in Eindhoven is seeking an IT Business Analyst for Banking / Financial Services. You will turn complex processes into MVP-ready backlogs through workshops, modelling as-is/to-be, and close collaboration with the Solution Architect to ensure practical, testable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in banking, financial services, or insurance.
• Proven track record of taking projects from process analysis through to backlog and implementation.
• Hands-on experience in agile delivery (Scrum/SAFe) and in mixed client/vendor teams.
• Strong process modelling (BPMN) and requirements engineering skills.
• Good understanding of banking domains and regulatory context.
• Pragmatic and fast: prefer testable prototypes over long docs; able to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Run workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to capture and model as-is and to-be processes.
• Identify pain points, manual steps, data needs, and control points.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into process and system requirements.
• Work in short iteration cycles with the Solution Architect: map, prototype, validate with the business.
• Run demos and feedback sessions and turn input into requirements and decisions.
• Convert validated processes and prototypes into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the bridge between business and delivery team and manage change requests, risks, and decisions.
• Process modelling.
• Jira / Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• Prototyping and design tools (e.g. Figma).
• APIs, integration patterns, data models, and cloud platforms (basic technical literacy).
