Levy Professionals is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst in Amsterdam to lead a transformation program in Payments, Cards, and Cash. You will bridge business and IT, turning complex requirements into scalable solutions impacting over one million customers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in banking with strong payments domain expertise and hands-on knowledge of APIs and microservices. This hybrid role aims to start ASAP and continues until the end of 2026.

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior IT Business Analyst with deep expertise in Payments, Cards & Cash to join a high-impact transformation program. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable IT solutions across high-volume payment systems impacting over 1 million customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Bridge business and IT: translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories
• Drive end-to-end analysis across payment systems (cash, debit/credit cards)
• Work with APIs, microservices, and integration architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and global engineering teams (NL, Romania, India, Philippines)

Must-Have Requirements

• 8+ years as IT Business Analyst in banking, with strong Payments domain experience (cash, cards, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022 preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, microservices, and data/integration flows
• Proven Agile delivery (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
• Banking experience is a very strong advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to simplify complex topics
• Based in/around Amsterdam (hybrid)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in international banking transformations or large-scale payment modernization
• Knowledge of card schemes (Visa/Mastercard), instant payments, or core banking platforms

Profile we want to see

An experienced Payments Business Analyst who has recently worked at a bank on transaction processing, card acquiring/issuing, or payment hub implementations. Immediate availability or a very short notice period is preferred.
