Job summary

FairPlay Engineering is seeking an experienced Cable Engineer to support high-voltage cable infrastructure projects across the Netherlands and Europe. You will work within a multidisciplinary Power & Energy team delivering complex layouts, calculations, and solutions through the engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience with high-voltage cable engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage cable systems and infrastructure.
• Experience designing and calculating HV cable connections.
• Ability to develop cable layouts and technical solutions.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and evaluating solutions.
• Solid understanding of European standards, regulations, and legislation related to cable engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert and primary contact for HV cable systems.
• Develop cable layouts and perform engineering calculations.
• Evaluate technical solutions and advise clients and project teams.
• Contribute to technical proposals and ensure compliance with standards.
