Job summary

Energy Solutions B.V. is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and analyze electrical infrastructures for grid and renewables projects, including wind farms, solar plants and BESS.

You will ensure adherence to international and local standards for transformers and cables while drafting detailed electrical specifications. The role requires MV/HV cable and transformer knowledge, experience with AutoCAD and a power system analysis tool, and strong Dutch and English communication

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power systems or renewables.
• Experience in MV/HV cable design and transformers.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and power system analysis tools (e.g., Digsilent PowerFactory).
• Strong written and spoken Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical infrastructures for the grid and renewable projects (wind, solar, BESS).
• Maintain knowledge of international and local standards for transformers, cables, and equipment.
• Create electrical infrastructure technical specs (single line diagrams, station plots, cable routes).
• Perform load flow and short-circuit analysis in PowerFactory.
• Conduct earthing and lighting design studies for project facilities.
• Design MV/HV cables using in-house tools.
• Participate in FATs and SATs of HV/MV equipment like cables and transformers.
• Write technical reports detailing design studies and analyses.
• Supervise field activities at project sites.
• Perform feasibility, reliability, and cost-optimization studies.
• Engage in discussions with customers and suppliers.
