Job summary

WSP is seeking a Cable Engineer to support high voltage European projects from the Arnhem or Rotterdam area. You will be the technical expert liaising between clients and colleagues, design and calculate new cables, and develop layouts for HV cable systems.

You will join a 30-person Power and Energy team, focusing on safety, European legislation, and delivering complex assignments across national and European scope.

Qualifications

Proactive, solution-driven mindset and ability to drive technical discussions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of European legislation surrounding cable engineering.
Experience with high voltage cables is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical guidance on high voltage projects.
Liaise between clients and colleagues to ensure clear communication.
Design and calculate new HV cables for European projects.
Develop layouts for high voltage cable systems and present proposals to clients.
Collaborate with the team and share technical knowledge.
Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards.
