Job summary

WSP is the world’s leading engineering company, specialising in infrastructure, transport, environment, energy and buildings. We are growing in the Netherlands and strengthening our Power and Energy Team in Arnhem.

We are looking for a Cable Engineer with expertise in high voltage projects to design and calculate cables, liaise with clients, and develop HV cable layouts while ensuring safety and compliance with European standards.

Qualifications

• HBO/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ Years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Proactive solution driven mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of European Legislation surrounding Cable Engineering.
• Experience with High Voltage cables is essential.

Responsibilities

• Designing and calculating new cables.
• Calculating and presenting new proposals to clients.
• Working closely with the team and sharing solid technical knowledge.
• Develop layouts for high voltage cable systems.
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards.
