Job summary

Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the HR team in Amsterdam. You will learn Dutch labor law, assist with recruitment, wages, payroll, administration, onboarding and off-boarding, and uphold Hyatt standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or HR-related study program.
• Proactive, creative thinker with a hands-on attitude.
• Confident decision-maker with discreet handling of information.
• Strong English and Dutch language skills, both written and spoken.
• Available for five months or longer.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch institution).

Responsibilities

• Gain extensive knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR processes.
• Serve as first point of contact for colleagues and support recruitment and payroll.
• Assist with onboarding, through-boarding, off-boarding and HR administration.
• Support internal communications, benefits, and Hyatt standards compliance.
• Learn and use HR systems and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate as an active member of the HR team.
