Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp. is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our European HR team in Rijswijk. This 24-32 hour per week position provides hands-on experience in HR operations, data reporting, onboarding, contracts, and documentation in a fast-growing biotech environment.

You will support day-to-day HR activities, assist with HR projects, and learn how HR processes align with business objectives. The role includes an internship allowance and opportunities for full-time progression.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or nearing completion in HR/psychology or related field.
• Availability October/November 2026.
• Prior HR internship or work experience preferred but not required.
• Strong Excel skills and interest in HR data, reports, and analysis.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; proactive and well-organized.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our European HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in HR operations while supporting a variety of HR initiatives in an international and multicultural environment.

Title: Human Resources Intern

Hours: 24h-32h per week (Mon - Wed / Mon - Thu)

Location: Rijswijk, South Holland, the Netherlands

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Is available to start in October or November 2026.
• Is a recent graduate (within 12 months of graduation) or is nearing completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Studies, or a related field.
• Has previous HR internship, project, or work experience (preferred but not required).
• Has good Microsoft Excel skills and an interest in working with HR data, reports, and basic analysis.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is proactive, responsible, well‑organized, and eager to learn.
• Enjoys working in an international and multicultural environment and is open to different perspectives and ways of working.
• Has a good command of English; Dutch is a plus.

What You Will Learn and Contribute

During this internship, you will gain practical experience in HR operations within an international business environment while supporting a variety of HR activities and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting day‑to‑day HR operations and administrative activities.
• Assisting with HR data management, reporting, and analysis.
• Supporting employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract administration, personnel records management, and offboarding activities.
• Assisting with HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and the development of HR documentation, materials, and guidelines.
• Learning how HR processes support business objectives through collaboration with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
• Providing general support on HR‑related tasks and projects as needed.
• Gain hands‑on HR experience in a fast growing European division of a global biotech company.

• Monthly internship allowance of €400-€600, based on qualifications and agreed working hours.

• High‑performing intern will be considered for a full‑time HR position upon successful completion of the internship, subject to performance and business needs.
